Taylor Swift

Points of Interest is the daily link dump for your morning or afternoon commute in and out of Souvenir City.  We’ll be throwing together some other stops from out there in blogdome and the interwebs to peak your interest.  Some of them will actually be what some might consider educational.  Most of them, are going to everything but that.

As expected, the headlines across the net read that Phil and Tiger didn’t win the U.S. Open, not that Lucas Glover did win it.  Other than that, thank God for Donald Fehr stepping down because it’s a slow day in sports with very little baseball on tonight.  Football can’t come soon enough for most fans.  We’ve been packing up our stuff all day.  Moving has got to be one of the top 10 worst things that every person has to do at some point in their life.  That sounds like a post for tomorrow!  Taylor Swift is your POI girl today.  She was requested by a friend of the blog and it’s our birthday gift to him.  Perv…

Photobombing after the jump! (H/T to Hot Chicks Being Photobombed)

Some court reporter is in for a lashing because their typo cut years off of this Ohio man’s drug sentence……..We’ve always wondered about people from Missouri.  Misplacing a time capsule from 1959 is just another stupid occurrence to add to the list for this state……..Looks like we are just hitting the beehive that is North Korea.  On second thought, they’re the ones doing it.  Idiots……..We dislike Perez Hilton.  Guy is a menace to society.  Glad that someone finally laid the hammer down on this jackass……..Just like last week, your Iran coverage can be seen from different sources here, here and here.  Oh, and here.

Christina Milian everyone.  So happy we’re going to the game tomorrow.  This all baseball schedule is killer.  Especially when only four teams played last night.  We’ll probably have one or two posts left for the remainder of the day.  However, we have a friend who recently discovered a treasure chest from the 1980s filled with old NES, Sega and other 8-bit system games.  There’s a strong possibility that we pay him a visit tonight.  Perhaps we’ll put together some posts on old school video games for you all tomorrow.  NickJ might be taking over for us tomorrow, we’re still not sure.  But we’ll be sure to have some programming for you.

Mark Cuban actually recommended this piece.  It’s pretty insightful as far as the direction that video is going on the web…….Awesome.  And we’ve been using Zicam for some time now to fight our colds.  Looks like we won’t be able to smell anything soon…….We read Drudge for bits and pieces.  We hope this isn’t some propaganda designed to make us dislike Barry.  This is scary if it’s actually going to happen.  We don’t like it…….Don’t feel bad MySpace workers.  Our former employer laid off a little less than 30% of their staff.  You’ll recover…….The Obama healthcare plan.  And, how he plans on getting it past all of the Republicans. There isn’t a dustpan big enough………

So, we are going to change some things up on you a bit.  We’re going to be putting a bit more emphasis on the PM Points of Interest as far as links and whatnot to try and give you a supplement to a change of programming that happened on another station.  But fear not!  You’re still going to get your morning WAG or road beef picture, so don’t worry about that.  We’re excited for golf this weekend and even more excited Kobe is one win away from his first ring after “the trade”.  There’s a game seven tonight and we’re excited to start our weekend with it.  We’re tweeting now too!  Yup, we caved.  Follow us at http://twitter.com/SouvenirCity and you can always e-mail us at SouvenirCityBlog@gmail.com.

Less nicotine in your cigarettes smokers. Yeah, we’re pissed about them messing with our sports, we feel your fain…..Conan picking up a ratings bump. You knew it was going to happen in that time slot…….A source that normally leans a little left of center with a very right perspective on government ownership in private companies…..Cher’s daughter about to become Cher’s son.  We think that’s right, right?……Interview with a guy that lived with the shooter at the Holocaust Museum on Wednesday…..

There’s a chance that we’ll be going to a NHRA event today.  Hey man, what else are we gonna do on a Thursday afternoon, you know?  If that’s the case, we’ve got enough posts to cover you ’til your lunch break.  And, we’ll be sure to include a full recap of mullets, fast cars and what the flags on the RVs said.  If not, we’ll be sure to push all the way through the afternoon.  Heather Graham is in ‘The Hangover’ and would like you to send your requests to SouvenirCityBlog@gmail.com.

Drudge has seriously had this posted for like, three days.  Enough is enough, man…But, they love them some Barry anyways…The Canadians REALLY want to save hockey-town…Washington D.C. wants its say on the NBA One and Done now too; STICK TO POLITICS…
