Arianny CelestePoints of Interest is the daily link dump for your morning or afternoon commute in and out of Souvenir City.  We’ll be throwing together some other stops from out there in blogdome and the interwebs to peak your interest.  Some of them will actually be what some might consider educational.  Most of them, are going to everything but that.

It is upon us!  UFC 100, the Super Bowl of MMA is tomorrow and we are jacked for it.  We’ll be at the bar tomorrow night with some friends to watch it so it’s going to be rather quiet around here for you.  We’re waiting on a preview from glove but he’ll have it for you later today.  Ring girl Arianny Celeste for your enjoyment.

Woman on toilet accidently shot in leg.  Relations to Plaxico?……..So, Barry not so much pro-choice anymore.  According to his talks with the Pope.  Lip service?……..This is awful.  Family who adopted 12 kids, most with special needs, found slain in their home.  What the hell is wrong with people?……..HuffPo a partisan defender of the Obama White House? You decide……..Those crazy Germans.  German badgers that is.  Drunk in the street.

We’re heading out to the game today.  Got some posts to get you through the early morning.  We left NickJ the key to the blog, so, it’s up to him to put up some material.  He’s also a Katy Perry fan so hopefully this does the trick.  SouvenirCityBlog@gmail.com is still the spot to send him stuff. We’ll have a post for pre-game and hopefully should have some nice pictures for post-game.  We have a date with the batting cages at Sluggers around 11 a.m.  Sosa finally got caught with his hand in the cookie jar yesterday.  We did a post on him 2 weeks ago, so we’ll spare you another.

If you have a credit card balance that you’re worried about, read this.  It’s actually pretty interesting. We’re a writer in Chicago.  We plan on giving it a shot……..Big O taking time away from fighting for a College Football Playoff (yeah, right) to give same sex partners benefits…….Someone in Congress is having an affair!  This is breaking news!  We’ve never heard of such a thing!…..At one point in college, we have over $600 in parking tickets.  But, we never got one for parking in our own driveway…….If you’re not familiar as to the history of why what is happening in Iran is actually happening, then this is a pretty concise record for you……

Big game tonight in Orlando.  If the Lakers win, it’s effectively over and likely in five.  If the Magic win, we’re looking at Kobe Bryant taking a huge hit and having to deal with Shelley Smith following him around for six days.  Played poker for the first time in about 6 months and ended up down $1.  We’d almost rather be down $10 or $50 than just $1.  We’ll obviously have the preview for the game tonight but we’re going a little outside the box today.  Profiling Rex Ryan (we hate everything New York except the Yankees), a list involving the greatest shots in golf in the last 20 years, and a look at what is coming up on TV this summer.  Bar Rafaeli and Leo broke up again.  We’re not US Weekly but we do think that’s (good) news.  More great news (read:  photos) after the jump.

Gunman opens fire in the Holocaust Museum in D.C.  Again, what the hell people? We remember going there as a kid and getting the I.D. Card when you walk in.  We promise we’ll lay off the Nats for a while…..“You’re fired,” and Miss California was dismissed by the Donald……We are really started to get a little concerned at the reach of the Federal government. No, this is not a conspiracy theory…….Healthcare.  Karl Rove.  We’ll let you decide. We read it…….If you only read one article in this section, please, PLEASE read this one.  Discussion on the dissemination and the fragmentation of media.  It’s like how mass production has devalued the automobile…..

We’ve got the whole day to put together some solid stuff for everyone.  It’s Friday, your weekend is almost here so put it on cruise control and we’ll steer.  Nothing says Friday like Emmanuelle Chriqui, right (more after the jump)?  Recaps of both Finals games will be up shortly this morning and a piece of Randy Johnson’s place in baseball history.   Oh, and we’ve got an excellent picture that we need you all to create a caption for.  Should you see anything we miss or just want to see anything at all, let us know at SouvenirCityBlog@gmail.com.

States budgets are tanking and we’re actually in the process of moving to the worst one of all…..Man uses Craigslist to arrange horrific crime against wife; the hell is wrong is with people?….David Carradine (the Kill Bill series, Kung Fu) was found dead, hanged….We had no clue that the First Lady even had a Chief of Staff, let alone would make a change…We hate the headline of this article on Barry but the content is actually pretty good regarding his great orator qualities…
