The Skyline

Las VegasUFC post goes up tomorrow and will be left up all day for UFC 100 in Vegas.  We’ll give you the run down of baseball from today and then all UFC, all day.  Tonight, you should not be at home.  Go out, have some drinks.  If you’re married, take the wife out.  It’s summer and you should enjoy the night.  We’re headed out for dinner right after we write this.  If you’re staying in, here’s what on the tube tonight:

  • Ghostbusters (AMC, 8 EST)
  • Lethal Weapon (Spike, 9 EST)
  • One of our all-time favorites, The Rock (TNT, 9 EST)
  • Friday Night Fights (ESPN2, 10 EST)

The Skyline

SeattleMostly baseball on tonight, but you do get Manny nationwide tonight.  Will he get ejected?  Will David Wright go on a rant about the Mets sucking again?  Does anyone really care?  Here’s what you can look forward to tonight:

  • UFC Ultimate Greatest Fights: 30-11 (Spike)
  • There’s Something About Mary (FX)
  • Wipeout (ABC) – It’s funny the first time.  That’s about it.

The Cubs already lost today and committed some really bad errors.  After the jump, the baseball schedule with the probable starters.

ChicagoAtNight1We’re unveiling a new final post for every day that we’ll put up for folks to comment on (yeah, right) and with what’s on the tube for the evening.  We’ll give you a run down of sports, entertainment, local titty bar specials and other things to watch for while you evade the kids or shrug off your work from the day.

Tonight, there’s actually a few things that might be worth watching on the sports calendar.  Nomar Garciaparra makes his first return to Fenway Park for the first time since being traded to the Cubs in 2004 (ugh).  UFC continues its countdown of the top fights with numbers 75-51 on Spike.  And, Tommy Boy (we’ll pretty much watch it every time) is on Comedy Central.  The full slate of MLB games and probable starters after the jump (courtesy MLB.com).
